GUEST INSTRUCTORS
|
Ruta Kidolis has
been dancing since 1985 in NYC, and began teaching and performing
in Baltimore around 2004.
Her style of instruction is informal with an
emphasis on the safe learning of the core basics, and eventual
expansion into combinations, flexibility and an understanding
of rhythm and balance. She also conveys to her students the importance
of understanding and feeling the music; all the technique in
the world won't help if a dancer can't feel the music running
through her, or understand what the music is telling each individual.
When she teaches, Ruta also strives to foster
a sense of community with her students that keeps these classes
alive and vital.
Please see the calendar page
for information on her upcoming classes!

Dvora
Balaban Childress learned about whole food therapy
in the late-80's because she wanted better options for her
families health. With three children at the time and the typical
western medical approach to push antibiotics on the children
for everything from a sore throat to an ear infection without
actually healing the body, she went in search of true healing
answers and found them. She has taken multiple levels of whole
foods cooking classes and has been counseled on macrobiotic
diets. This combined with her 20 years of planning, cooking
and learning for her family, which became 5 children in total,
has given Dvora a wealth of knowledge and information to pass
on to you.
To sign up for her classes
being taught at the Institute please call the office at
410-358-9580.You may also reach her directly at 443-570-9000
